Resident Evil 4 listed for Wii

During the latter part of last week, two new Wii titles appeared (and in one case, disappeared) on retail listings.

Over at GameStop, a listing for "Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition" quickly appeared and disappeared from the site. The listed price for the game was a scant $29.99, with a release date of June 25th of this year. No other details were provided, but we have to assume that it would be a port of the GameCube version with Wii-enhanced controls. It would seem probable that it would also include the bonus content PS2 owners received (such as the Ada bonus missions) in that port of the game.

The other game, Namco Museum Remix, appeared on Gamefly with a release date of 10/31, and is still there at press time. There's also a DS version listed, with a release date of July 30th. We can only assume that these will be in the same vein as previous Namco Museum releases, with a collection of various Namco classics likely comprised of whatever is best suited to the Wii Remote and stylus.

Keep in mind that retail listings are not confirmation that a game is on the way by any means, but are rarely incorrect.
