The third-parties keep on talking, even if Nintendo won’t.
While Nintendo may not be forthcoming with details on WiiWare, that hasn't stopped third-parties from talking. The latest is Engine Software, which is currently working on Project Bang for the service.
"Nintendo's WiiWare service is a new downloadable game content service that is scheduled to be launched in March 2008," stated Engine Software.
While it is in Nintendo's best interest to share such information with third-party developers, so they can have titles lined up to support the launch, this should hardly be seen as an official confirmation. Nintendo has said little about WiiWare, and has likely shifted its own internal plans several times to maximize the impact of its launch. A smaller developer like Engine is also more likely to have outdated information than major third-parties, and Nintendo could simply change its release plans again before March arrives.
