Nintendo announced this morning that it will celebrate the upcoming release of Mario Kart Wii (with Wii Wheel) by throwing a launch party at the company's Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza. Attendees can compete in the Mario Kart Wii Challenge for a chance to race against actor/racing enthusiast Jason Priestley. There will also be Nintendo-themed giveaways and premiums such as personalized Mario Kart driver's licenses.
The event will take place this Saturday, April 26th. Although the store opens at 9am, the actual event will be from 2pm to 6pm. More information about the store can be found online at www.nintendoworldstore.com.
